The falken mk5 has one thing that makes it differ from it's predecessor. It was heavier. This was due to a retracting fin added under the central fuselage. This fin was meant to add stability. For this fin to be of any use it had to have a large area. The engeneers created a long fragile-looking fin out of carbon fibre. The shape and inner structure was designed to have the least amount of em refletiveness. This made the fin invisible to radar. The weight was not in the fin itself but in the mecanism used to retract it. Even so the fin's beneffits made up for the increase in mass
