Yakovlev Yak-3 (VK-107A)
Introduce:
Yak-3 (VK-107A)
Klimov VK-107A engine with 1,230 kW (1,649 hp) and 2 × 20 mm (0.79 in) Berezin B-20 cannons with 120 rpg. After several mixed-construction prototypes, 48 all-metal production aircraft were built in 1945–1946 during and after WW2. Despite excellent performance (720 km/h (450 mph) at 5,750 m (18,860 ft)), it saw only limited squadron service with the 897th IAP. Though the problems with the VK-107 overheating were eventually mitigated, it was decided to leave the engine for the better-suited Yak-9.
- This plane build with realistic specifications, some effect on cockpit view and realistic gunsight.

Act2: War Emergency Power
Act3: Navigation Light
Act8: Engine

this is incredible! that gunsight is genius. too bad you can’t upvote more than once.

"801 parts" i could name this... KOREAN AIR FLIGHT 801-
@FairFireFlight To make gun sight invisible from the front just do the same but vice versa.
@FairFireFlight i used hollow glass fuselage as the gun sight then i moved it in the middle of another hollow glass fuselage block then just moved the gun sight backwards a bit on the z-axis
this is absolutely fantastic, how did you make the realistic reflective gun sight?
@DrMinh I have to say that with a limited number of parts your work is almost perfect overall and in detail, the wing loadsing is reasonable, the cockpit details are realistic. My creation is more like a waste of parts, although it works well, in fact it took me almost a month of spare time.
@extraordinaryman I look forward to seeing your yak 3
what a coincidence, I also built a Yak3VK108, not released yet, but it has over a thousand parts that are not mobile-friendly.I welcome you to have a look at my YAK3VK108 in the future, rest assured that I will postpone the release for a while to avoid
I welcome you to have a look at my YAK3VK107 in the future, rest assured that I will postpone the release for a while to avoid competition.
Amazing plane! Looks great and flies even better!
I don't normally comment on anything here, but you did a phenomenal job on this plane. Feels soooo good to fly.
just wow. i love the camera bob.
Wow. It’s like I’m playing Il-2 Forgotten Battles. Great model!
@DrMinh oh
This deserves so many more upvotes! The gunsight mechanics are so cool
@AXEPOH maybe it was my mistake i will fix it in next version
@MAHADI the glass to make the gunsight more realistic
@AXEPOH i use wing gun with high damage to make 20mm
@AXEPOH the Yak 3 vk107a have only 2 gun and both are 20mm
@jamesPLANESii what is the red thing in the blueprint above?
this looks amazing!
@SyntheticL
Negative!
