The book iself doesn’t give much, if not any info on this ship/drone thing. All I know is that it’s a remotely controlled war machine that flies and is now long-abandoned and left to rot and rust out in the mojave desert somewhere.
This is probably my favorite fictional ship ever. Period. Simply amazing. Despite its looks, it’s actually from quite a while ago. The book doesnt specify how long exactly, but at least 1970
