NGAGF-20 (Next Gen Air-to-Ground-Fighter) is a medium weight fighter jet developed by the government in the early 1970’s, as tensions were rising and new air-to-ground tech was quite limited during the time and the US needed a new fighter to counter such attacks. It therefore lead to the Next Gen Air To Ground Fighter program, which promoted making newly developed air-to-ground fighters in an effort to chase away enemies off their territory. It also carried 6 fast Air-To-Air missiles, which allowed it to counter air to air attacks against it. It was expensive due to the technology needed to develop it, so the production was slow. It is powered by a powerful turbofan, not very effecient yet powerful, allowing it to go near mach 1 at 5,000 FT. At 50,000 feet, it allows it to cruise at just 1,100 MPH+. The turbofan originally was faulty, at one point in time though. As the turbofan was upgraded continuously, the issues stopped occurring. Only 2 have been downed during its time serving, and it has scored over 120 enemy kills on the battlefield.
