The 1940s -1950s Fighter Challenge Based on Hahahaash The Yak-19 is a prototype Soviet fighter jet, the second Yakovlev jet fighter after the Yak-15, and also an experimental all metal single seater fighter jet. It made its first flight in 1947 and differs greatly from the design of the Yak Bureau before this. Equipped with a combustion engine, similar to the smoke tube body design of the MiG 15, equipped with ejection seats, hydraulic system, and a complete set of radio navigation equipment, this aircraft's overall technology was ahead of any Soviet fighter at that time.
