The assembly and production of the Turkish Unmanned Aerial Vehicle "ANKA", designed by Turkish Aerospace Engineers and in which many domestic subcontractors took part, was completed and left the hangar with a ceremony held at the Turkish Aerospace Industries facilities on July 16, 2010. ANKA, whose engine is also started after leaving the hangar, aims to be the best operative system in the world in its category. A serial production contract (ANKA-S) for 10 aircraft was signed in October 2013 for the ANKA Unmanned Aerial Vehicle System, which made its first flight on 30 December 2010. The work in the ANKA-S Project has been successfully completed.
