Description might could actually updated sometimes

Either to fix up some typos, mistyping, lack of words, unedited words, or adding some new components

"Come on! It's PAYBACK time!"
-One of the MRNS Yamato crew.

Overview

The MRNS Yamato (BBG-01) is the flagship and the main firepower of Monarchii's naval force, calling themself as "The (former) Invincible Fleet". This missile guided super-battleship is a reconstruction plus modernization of her previous predecessor during the World War Two.

A Reconstruction of Yamato as an Aegis Combat System equipped guided missile battleship. Old armament except the main caliber was replaced. A modern helicopter platform was installed on the place of the World War II plane catapults.

She was supposed to be sunk in the relentless NeMaR onslaught during Operation Going Eleven along with the whole ships on her fleet. But with the most anti-climatic plot twist and armor, she is unexpectedly returned back in the Second Monarchii War, being retrofitted and upgraded after it.

History

Monarchii lore

The Yamato Aegis super-battleship (designated as MRNS Yamato) has participated in Monarchii War to fight against MGLA army and she is the part of the Monarchii's invincible fleet. She deployed and patrolling over the cold water body of Snowstone to provide defense towards Snowstone and counter for the MGLA units, becoming a main firepower of the Snowstone coalition naval unit, since Snowstone had no official military units but just police force and some other defense organization.

Monarchii's Invincible Fleet, also known as Yamato Strike Group consisting of 1 unit of Yamato super-battleship as the main firepower and some escort fleets such as modern frigates, escort cruisers, and guided-missile destroyers. It is the largest and the most powerful naval unit of the Monarchii force. This electric boogaloo is such a kind-of-big-deal for the adversary force.

The MRNS Yamato is captained by Captain Takeji Matsuda, the most respected captain in the Monarchii Royal Navy, the commander of the modernized ship Yamato Aegis, descendant of the samurai clan.

Monarchii War I (Operation Going Eleven)

On the 09:00 AM in the morning, the Monarchii super battleship Yamato, the most powerful battleship on the fleet, and all of the armada fleets involved, embarked from Wright Island back into their homeland harbor after being asked to leave, for engage in a battle against the NeMar (New Machine Rebellion) force under the operation codename 'Going Eleven'.

The invincible fleet was attacked by NeMaR naval forces including their unusual flying tanks before it could reach their homeland harbor; Super battleship Yamato and many other warships were sunk. Cargo ship Sarina Tendouji was managed to survive the lethal attack, sank shortly afterwards due to unable to handle the leaking waters flooding her hull located on her starboard side.

the NeMaR force has managed to obliterate the Monarchii's invincible fleet, marking the end of the biggest hope of Monarchii royal naval force. All hopes and power has been perished without trace. The last remaining survivor crews who managed to evacuate themselves, can only witnessed the big bertha slowly sinking into the cold sea. Captain Matsuda, the ship's captain was "declared" killed in action, and only a catastrophically small number of crew members that could only survived that lethal attack. It is estimated that only 15 percent of the entire large crew managed to survive, while the rest are mostly killed in action in extraordinary numbers.

Post-Monarchii War I

The Monarchii Royal Navy was planned to "resurrect" this big bertha ship, with the blueprint of the Yamato AEGIS-class that they still had in their inventory. With the help, support, and backup from MGLA and WAEC, The construction of the second ship of the Monarchii Yamato AEGIS-class superbattleship named "Musashi" has been commisioned, named after her World War II counterpart, with cutting-edge technology and weaponry, to succeed the journey of her late older sister.

Pre-Monarchii War II (Unexpected anti-climatic return)

By some point prior to the Monarchii War II, Mouse Defender Allies, known as the MDA somehow managed to salvaged the wreck of the super battleship, The reason is because the Anti-OP/Meme Treaty didn't apply pre-war, so they used all of their A-40s to lift it. How did they repair it is a different story, but this is literally the Combined SimpleVerse where the entire world got nuked just a few months ago and still has enough energy to spring into basically modern World War II. Logic only applies to a certain extent here (and eventually we can finally have Yamato and Musashi in the same time).

While the Operation Going Eleven absolutely still happened during M-War I, in fact the Yamato was the only ship (involved in the battle) that they managed to fully recover, or more accurately the only recovered one that they rebuilt. The MDA were recovered a little over a dozen, but many were either "neglected" or actively salvaged from in order to support the reconstruction of the Yamato AEGIS. They figured gunships would have some kind of extra advantage because they can bypass Snowstone's rough terrain via manual aim, as opposed to missiles which often struggle with low-altitude targets.

Because of this plot armor, this Big Bertha has been r-assigned in Monarchii Royal Navy, despite the Invincible Fleet aka the Monarchii's Yamato Strike Group is no more. The Yamato herself is the one and only ship that has been salvaged and restored.

The world's most anti-climactic plot twist, Captain Takeji Matsuda was going down with the ship, but he was saved because he forgot to deny the request of the guy who wanted to install the cabin with floaties. In the other words, he was actually survived that lethal catastrophe and his unexpected return surprised the Monarchiians, thinking that he came back to life from his catastrophic death.

Captain Takeji Matsuda from the Monarchii Royal Navy. Presumably dead, but he somehow survived such deadly catastrophe and the cause was so reasonable. (Yes, I literally stole this straight up from Modern Warships so why not?)

Monarchii War II

The MDA is also part of the loyalist, a faction affiliated with Monarchii loyalists. As a payback from what was happen after the Operation 'Going Eleven' from the past , the MRNS Yamato has deployed in Monarchii War II to fight against the reformist.

MRNS Yamato also got an upgrade and retrofitted, the SH-60 helicopter has been replaced with Merlin HM2 anti-submarine helicopter. The mobility of the ship has also being improved.

eventually, Captain Matsuda, the commander of the MRNS Yamato has also return back again to duty and served the Monarchii Royal Navy for once again to tell the world that he and the almighty super-battleship Yamato is still alive.

Notable crews:

  • Captain Takeji Matsuda - The captain of MRNS Yamato, a descendant of a samurai clan.

Creator's note:

  • The helicopter was derived from my previous warship
  • This is an upgraded and improved version of the same ship from the previous version.
  • The M-War II spec gives an additional lore and a possible retcon (retroactive continuity) for the previously-made Monarchii ships.
  • I'm hella sure some tit-arse bollocks would say the description looks AI generated, they just don't know how overheated my brain was after I build up these words, especially copy and paste from previous sources that I've collected before.

@LunarEclipseSP "Yes, I literally stole this straight up from Modern Warships so why not?" Buddy, I've incorporated things from Ace Combat, The Macross series(Gundam isn't safe anymore either), artists I've found, and the short series Murder Drones into the lore of Skypark, and considering no one's raised hell about any of it, I think you're fine. Saying that now inspires me to maoe a list of all the sh*t I've made a part of Skypark.
