This prototype Soviet tactical bomber was desgined similar to most Soviet bombers in the Cold War-era, high mounted wings with thin fuselages, though it had the cabability to hold a nuclear weapon the soviets instead favored thier newer ballistic missles and the M-50 was shut down after only two prototypes
