All credit goes to thealban and his Warthog
So i was messing around with my aircraft and i realized, the smoke of the missiles is affected by the scale of the part. This meant that if i scaled the missile down enough i could make the smoke invisible, which would be perfect for guided bombs and such. I then took thealban's A-10 and strapped some Paveway IV subassemblies onto it and rescaled the cleavers, and voilà!
Realistic-looking guided bombs.
All weapons are semi-accurate to their real-life counterparts.

These bombs are made to be powerful, not maneuverable, so it would be advised to drop them like normal bombs to guarantee a direct hit on a target.
What’s the technique? Sometimes I get it to hit and others it seems to unlock and fly a straight path into terrain
@AWESOMENESS360 Fixed it here
Really a great idea 😎
@CaptainCommunist Can you post it with the updated bombs on it?
Just tested it, a thrust force of 4000-5500 should be reasonable for a bomb.
Thank you for telling me.
I put the thrust of the missiles to 0, but i did not compensate for the drag of the wings, so a low thrust would be needed to have the bombs not fly like a brick.
@CaptainCommunist you're welcome! One thing I will say though, after further testing, I realized that the bombs don't really move very fast, in fact they move slow enough that upon impact with a target, they just fall apart without actually detonating. If you ampilify the power of the cleaver missiles, it should work better.
Thanks, feel free to use the bombs.
This is actually a genius idea, great thinking!
