Mechanical Onithopter V5.6
An ornithopter made by SpiritusRaptor (credit to him, go check out his page) but I have replaced his mechanism with a pair of pistons. Flys pretty much the same but you can now change the speed of the wings or stop them all together. CONTROLS: VTOL == trim Throttle == wing speed AG1 == detatch takeoff wheels Trim == wing positioners (keep up at full always) pitch, roll and yaw do what they are. TAKING OFF: Put the trim slider at full and the VTOL slider at the first marker up, then lift the throttle very slowly until about 60% (it will bounce a lot, try and keep it under control) then when it is at about 50-70mph move the VTOL slider to the first marker down and pull up lightly and it should take off! Avoid pulling up too much and tweak the VTOL slider slightly to adjust the trim. This build is slow (-100mph) but faster than the original. Enjoy!
