XF-88B Voodoo
This was designed after the 1946 requirement for a jet-powered long-range escort penetration fighter.
Originally a twin jet, it eventually became a test bed, along with the XP-81, for the first Turboprop. Capable of Transonic speeds at sea level and Supersonic speeds at altitude, this aircraft is the only "mixed" propulsion aircraft to test the idea of supersonic propellers.
My replica, at least in my opinion, is AMAZING. Just look at that panelling :O.
This plane eventually canceled and became the F-101 Voodoo, which eventually turned into the F-4 Phantom. I designed this aircraft to look like it was already in service (which is why it has the 4 autocannons)
Weapons:
- 4 AN/M3 20mm Autocannons
Controls:
- VTOL UP is Flaps
I hope y'all enjoy!
PS: I will be making a racing version here soon for PapaKernel's racing challenge
PSS: That maneuverability and speed is so realistic...

ALSO:
I know the yaw doesn't work, sorry about that. I don't know why it is not working and I tried fixing it multiple times, but it will not rotate for some reason, but somehow there is working yaw torque whilst on the ground... so I dunno
BTW: this thing is chonk
