This is the famous racing aircraft constructed by Howard Hughes, as seen in the movie The Aviator. The actual model could go up to 323 mph, and it was made to break the speed record for an aircraft at the time. It does not have the original paint scheme, instead it is the blue-winged alternate version constructed at a later date.
