The OV-10A Bronco, introduced in the 1960s as a twin-turboprop aircraft, served notably in close air support and reconnaissance roles, gaining prominence in Vietnam for its adaptability in challenging combat conditions. Despite being phased out and succeeded by the A-10 Thunderbolt in the late 1980s, retired OV-10As have found themselves in civilian applications, such as firefighting and aerial observation, while modern variants continue to serve with air forces of other countries
