aThe Avanta CL-21 is an aircraft ordered by the Transboskia search and rescue team to replace the Avanta RPLH M:B Which was no longer profitable and was also becoming obsolete compared to other aircraft.


The Request


The transboskia search and rescue team in 1997 decided to hold a design competition for a light aircraft for search and rescue (SAR) which could carry a inflatable raft for 7 people or 200kg of supplies.

The winner of the contest was AVANTA which presented the CL-21, a light aircraft with a 3000hp Tresnobik D-30 turboprop.
