So...I wasted about 1.5 hours of my time attempting to make a walking leg. It failed but I created a complicated piece of useless junk. You can download and watch it rotate in awe.
Based on the Tokyo Institue of Technology "Walking Chair"

goood !
Just made a working prototype with this
Great attempt. It is really difficult to build these things. If you want, check out my build, Strandbeest Leg Mechanism
https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/P5h1gF/Strandbeest-Leg-Mechanism
it is quite similar to this!
@BrainyDJ you play on Android and if so pm me on reddit
@LukeDaDuke That is exactly what I got insiration from! I downloaded the app and I'm like, "Hey, SimplePlanes has weapons, I can build robot, so lets make FreedomBot"
@BrainyDJ now you should make a mech from Walking War Robots
Ps it's an app
@General360 It needs to stand on two feet though...thats the hardest part.
I see potention in this
Its a more complex version of my walker!
It works!!! Sort of....
