North American XF-108 Rapier
(WORKING ON A FIXED VERSION)
This is my follow up of my North American Valkyrie.
The North American XF-108 Rapier was a proposed long-range, high-speed interceptor aircraft designed by North American Aviation intended to defend the United States from supersonic Soviet strategic bombers.
This replica is just that, fly level when firing the interceptor missile out of the missile bay. It's quite stable and manoeuvres okay when at full throttle. At around 6o,oooft it can fly 3,000mph+. Pull the Trim down the smallest you can before flight.
VTOL down - for missile bay doors. AG-1 for lights.
Credit to Sarpanitu for the cockpit.
