In an alternate Earth, sometime in the future, the War to end all wars has been fought.

Everybody lost.

Mankind struggled back to it's feet in the aftermath.

Eventually, countries found things they needed in other countries, things those countries were not willing to give up without a fight.

Plans were found, along with weapons, but much technology had been lost and alternative power sources were used.

The Oberon Fighter was created.

The wars have started again.

A somewhat dark background story for this aircraft.

I said I would make a futuristic bi-plane, so I did.

I don't think I could more futuristic without using jets and that would ruin the bi-plane 'feel' if you get my meaning.

This flies very much like the single wing jet version using this wing structure, except I've made the flaps a smaller which has tamed the violent maneuverabilty of that version down a bit.

Taking off: Use about 1/4 flap and open the throttle.
When you are airborne, flaps back to neutral and do what you want.
