Auto Credit Based on KTTS's F8F Bearcat
This airplane was produced in 1945, in the end of WWll. It served during the mid-20th century in the United States Navy, the United States Marine Corps, and the air forces of other nations. It was Grumman Aircraft's last piston engined fighter aircraft. Modified versions have broken speed records for piston-engined aircraft( In 1989, the modified version of this plane set a new speed record. The top speed was about 850 km/h(528 mph)), and are popular among warbird owners and air racers. This plane was using by France and South Vietnam until 1966.
