About LZ-LDV

This aircraft was built as MD-82 with serial number 49569 in Long Beach, USA. It made its first flight on 04/08/1987 and was delivered to the Swiss company Balair on 18/09/1987 with the registration HB-INW. On 11/05/1995 it was transferred to another Swiss company Crossair with the same register. In late 1996, it was leased to the Argentine company Dinar Lineas Aereas for a period of six months. On 05/10/2001, upgraded to MD-83 and registered to EC-HVC, it was leased to Spanair until May 2003 when it was withdrawn from the owner's service and parked at Zurich Airport. In April 2006, Bulgarian Air Charter Company purchased the aircraft with the registration LZ-LDV and in the same month [April 2006] leased it to Mahan Airlines for one year.
