De Haviland Dash 7

I give you the de Haviland Canada Dash 7! I must say it flies and lands like a dream! (although a little trim in flight is required) VTOL down for flaps, AG 1-4 activates engines so you can taxi like the fuel saving professional pilot you always wanted to be! AG 5 activates lights - all important on those short dark runways! The dash 7 first flew in 1975 and was intended for the STOL market. That being said, it gradually fell out of favour for twin engined aircraft as they required less maintenance by operators and ceased production in 1988.
