History

A WW2 aircraft made for carrier operations the f-17 firecracker was developed in 1943 And entered service in late 1944 made as a counter to the messerschmitt ME-262. it was also used for air to ground missions boosting exceptional speed and versatility armed with 14 rockets and 2 air to air missiles. Later The F-17-Firecracker would be used for reconnaissance missions during the cold war before it was retired in late 1952. With 16,000 Made Before funding was cut.
