Here’s a new replica of one of my favorite Soviet combustion fighter aircraft. I decided to build the yak 9 because it’s probably my favorite of the yak propeller models, and it’s one of the last variants. I hope you guys enjoy!

@XEPOH Yak-9UT was among the last yak-9 variants. The yak you mentioned was a trainer. I simply meant the last of the yak fighter series.
@MartinAeronautics it's not about what happened before and what happened later, this you need to understand the "pedigree" of these machines, I-26, Yak-1, Yak-3, Yak-11 and UTI-26, Yak-7, Як-9 that's without going into details
modern machines like Yak-3UA and others are converted from Yak-11
@XEPOH I would assume the yak-9 came first?
Excellent work.
Good job
yak tank
You don't understand the subject well, it looks more like a re-engined Yak-11 with an Allison V-1710 engine
@Dragoranos often times it will
Yak attack
soviet combustion fighter aircraft
plane burns if needed
Nice
