Strategic Air Command Challenge
Ok. I am tired of typing as I managed to delete the entire story so this will be short. The B-51 was a hybrid between a normal aircraft and a flying wing. The only prototype was built in 1949, and it’s first and only flight came in early 1950. A Soviet spy had managed to slip into the program as a aeronautical engineer. The Red Agent frayed the electrical cables, causing engine 4 to not spool up all the way. On take off, the differnce in thrust pushed the aircraft off the right side of the runway and the landing gear collapsed. The fuel tanks, which uad not been reinforced to combat standards, collapsed when the wing hit the ground. A inferno followed emgulfing the plane in seconds as more fuel leaked. The entire crew was killed in seconds. After the tragedy, the spy slipped back to Russia and the program was canceled due to cost overuns and the short cuts that were taken with several systems, including the fuel tanks. Now, to the controls. Flying a plane is easy. Just do that. You can create contrails by firing the four rockets, they will not exoplode and are trapped inside the engine. AG-1 and vtol will fold the wings for storage in smaller hangars, and AG.2 will pop the parachutes and allow for the high speed landings this thing requires. That’s all for today folks! Could I see the b-52?
@TrojanAircraftSystems hehe... okay, then...
@LieutenantSOT you good. I just wanted to slap ya lol
I'm so sorry XD
I FORGOT
@TrojanAircraftSystems DAMM IT
@LieutenantSOT lol I enjoy slapping people too much. I should probably be in a mental hospital that treats pschospaths.
@LieutenantSOT forcibly slaps
Okay, I'm going to work on getting your results rn. Give me a few minutes to an hour :)
sorry, I'll have your results to you by the end of tomorrow. If not, I give you the right to forcibly slap me
@TrojanAircraftSystems lmao, taking from me now, eh? Kidding lol. I'm so glad that someone is using my designs as inspiration! I kinda came up with my own way of doing custom control surfaces. It's fairly simple, and I can explain it. I might make a tutorial, actually
.
And you're good lol. This plane is dope! Like a larger, flying-wing B-58
I was going to try to build custom control surfaces. I took one of yer builds and reverse engineered it and still couldn’t figure it out - my next build may have a prototype version of those things but not sure.
I kinda have a tendency to build something and then forget about it and then find it again. That’s actually were the carpet bombs and the landimg gear come from lol.
@LieutenantSOT well thanks. I ain’t got a clue who built the auto aim - I found it lying in the sub assembly compartment lol. Same with the letters, numbers and rocket trails. Everything else is mine.
@TrojanAircraftSystems you're good! lol
.
And yeah, I believe ACEPILOT109 made a video explaining that? I dunno. it's weird, but you did a good job
This is a really good show of your potential too lol
@TrojanAircraftSystems I may or may not have accidentally shot and destroyed one of the engines after take off...
This is super cool though!! The first one with auto-aim
This is an ugly aircraft lol
I couldn’t figure out how to get the letters to do right either so US air force is spelt backwards on one side :(
@LieutenantSOT aight the description is finished. I do warn you - please land at above 75% throttle. This thing glides like a rock. When you get to a land hit the AG.2 for the chutes and then cut the engines.
This is super cool! Once you finish the description, I will fly 'er around and give you your score!
