Introduction

The Kornath KF-7 is a Veridisian supersonic, twin engine, tandem seat interceptor and fighter-bomber designed and developed by Kornath for the Veridisian Air Force and Navy. The KF-7 is based on the KF-5, an earlier Kornath combat aircraft which has a near, similar design.
Throughout its service, the aircraft was widely used as a fighter-bomber due to its high speed. During its first combat deployment in the Sarafoni Colonial Wars, KF-7s were used to target Sarafonian airfields highly enforced with anti-air defenses. A variant that integrated its fighter-bomber capabilites was introduced into the Veridisian Air Force in 1983. Since then, KF-7s were used in numerous major conflicts, both as an interceptor and a fighter-bomber. It is also capable of carrying nuclear weapons.
New enhanced variants of the aircraft that incorporates ground-precision and multirole capabilities are currently being produced, and is expected to continue operating until 2044 or 2046.
Including all variants of the KF-7, 5,287 were built, of which 3,998 are currently in service. Majority of KF-7s are stationed in northern Veridisia, Plirophories, Bourbonnia, and in air force bases in Red Winter and Trinity school districts in Kivotos.
