Auto Credit Based on deusalgor's (Closed for new entries) 4-5 gen fighters tournament!
A modified F-8E King Cobra, it is the Paternian Air Force's second entry into deusalgor's 4-5th Generation performance trials, as the first entry, a modified F-7D Viper, proved too difficult to handle by the test pilots. It was decided to enter the F-8E King Cobra, which although slower and less maneuverable than the F-7D Pit Viper, is substantially easier to control. The aircraft received numerous modifications in order to bring it within the armament and performance limitations of the contest.

@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation I decided to enhance maneuverability by mounting my weapons on the fuselage, which reduces the load on the wings and keeps the mass close to the CoM, which improves maneuverability.

@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation Well, I should say that I tested the YF-23 against this, and both were pretty evenly matched.
You did go for maximum gun firepower, but I suppose my single modded 20mm M10A1 cannon did well.
I've boosted RoF and spread on that gun.
