The X16 is a handgun from the game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. It is Handgun Alpha, and is chambered in 45. ACP, holding 13 rounds of it. It has a dark brown cerakote on the slide and a coyote tan lower. The description describes it as “Semi-automatic pistol chambered in 45. ACP ammunition. A reliable fallback when you find yourself in close quarters.” The real life counterpart to the X16 is the Glock 21 SF Gen 3. It is the 5th pistol in the Glock lineup, and the first Glock to be chambered in 45. ACP, or 45. Automatic Colt Pistol. The SF stands for Short Frame, because it was designed with smaller handed people in mind. It has a smaller backstrap, and an ambidextrous magazine release. It was released in 2007 for a Department of Defense contract.
