The M/tech JFX-23A Agila (Eagle) is a Maharlican Sixth generation single-seat, twin-engine, all-weather stealth tactical fighter aircraft developed exclusively for the Maharlika Air Force (MARAF) and the Philippine Air Force (PAF) there are also export version of this aircraft. The result of the Next Generation Advance Fighter (NGAF) program, the aircraft was designed as an air superiority fighter, but also has ground attack, electronic warfare, and signals intelligence capabilities.
It is also able to provide surveillance, and reconnaissance capabilities.
JFX-23 has clipped diamond-like delta wings, and leading edge root extensions running to the upper outboard corner of the diverterless supersonic inlet.
A multirole fighter capable of aerial combat as well as ground and maritime strike, the design incorporates stealth, supermaneuverability, supercruise, integrated avionics, and substantial internal payload capacity.
