WW3 VTOL Bomber
This is one of my entries into the WW3 Challenge. It is a VTOL bomber designed by cutangus (original artwork here: http://cutangus.deviantart.com/art/USAF-SUPERSONIC-VTOL-BOMBER-1968-282197621 ) It looks like in the artwork, the plane has some propellers/fans built into the wings for vertical take off and I built a version like that...but it doesn't look as good and it needs modded engines to work (which I do not have...) It is a retro-futuristic or "atompunk" plane...which I think fits the WW3 theme pretty well. It's a fun plane to fly...just be easy when using the pitch and roll at the same time and when pitching forward. This plane is pretty agile for a bomber and the VTOL nozzles can be used to perform some really tight backflips. Take off instructions: 1) Increase to full throttle. 2) Press activation group 1. 3) As the plane starts to lift, press activation group 2 and slowly pull down on VTOL to keep the nose of the plane from pitching up too much. 4) As once you have VTOL all the way down, use the pitch to keep the nose from dropping and she will level out pretty well. Activation groups 3 and 4 drop the bombs. I hope you enjoy this plane as much as I do!
