The Styx Class Destroyer is a further improvement over the Svadilfari Class in all specs. She was armed with the new 135mm/L57 DP guns that fire semi-armor piercing high explosive shells for almost 25km. She was armed with new 37mm automatic AA guns that can pose a serious threat to aircraft. Torpedo layout is the same as the Svadilfari, however she can stall 10 spare torpedoes.
Nevertheless, the ship was extremely unlucky---So unlucky that she was crippled by friendly fire in her maiden voyage and towed back to the dry dock for repairs that last for over six months. Later, she was sunk by an air raid due to an explosion in her magazine. She was then salvaged for repair and recommissioned once again.
