Auto Credit Based on WinsWings's Cold War Challenge - 50-450 parts (CLOSED)
About
Behold, one of South Africa's most successful aircraft.
Based on the Aermacchi mb-326 from Italy, this Aircraft was built under license by the South African Airforce in the deep Cold War era. It was renamed 'Impala' to fit South Africa better.
Interesting History
When the first Impalas were sent to war in the bush, they were painted silver (like this one). Unfortunately the commander of the airfield they landed on were not happy because they gave away the location of the airfield.
To solve the problem temporarily, he took a paintbrush and painted all the Impalas with camouflage.

@JBPAviation no worries
@WinsWings this one is based on my real entry
Sry @WinsWings I forgot to change this not to be a successor to the closed challenge 😝
Nice build, and a beautiful choice. Unfortunately the challenge was over for a month ago. The elevator needed more powerful but the roll is a bit too fast. I love the side opening canopy. Great job. Thanks for joining
