About the Airbus A321:

The Airbus A321 is a member of the Airbus A320 family of short to medium range, narrow-body, commercial passenger twin engine jet airliners; it carries 185 to 236 passengers. It has a stretched fuselage which was the first derivative of the baseline A320 and entered service in 1994, about six years after the original A320. The aircraft shares a common type rating with all other Airbus A320-family variants, allowing A320-family pilots to fly the aircraft without the need for further training.

About D-AIRA:

D-AIRA is one of 17 A321-100’s and one of 71 in the total A321 family (including the neo variant). This specific aircraft is actually the first (and oldest) Airbus A321-100 to join the Lufthansa fleet. Lufthansa was a launch customer for the A321-100. The aircraft’s name is “Finkenwerder”, named after the German town, which subsequently has an airport known as “Airbus-Finkenwerder Airport” (XFW/EDHI).

This specific aircraft had its first flight in 1/12/1993, is 31.1 years old, and was tested at Hamburg’s Airbus-Finkenwerder Airport (XFW/EDHI) with the registration F-WWIQ. The MSN is 458.

The airliner has currently been in service with the following airlines:
- Lufthansa, since 27/1/1994, with the registration D-AIRA.
yeah, that’s it.

It still provides service with Lufthansa to this day.
