The MQ-10 is a revolutionary unmanned UAV that replaced the MQ-9 in the US military in 2031. Due to its heavier weight and faster speed the MQ-10 required a larger stabilizer which called for longer landing gear, which would make the aircraft unfit for aircraft carrier launches. The engeeneers found a clever way around this by hiding the vertical stabiliser underneath the fuselage on runways until the aircraft lifted its landing gear to make way for the stabiliser to pop out. The MQ-10's armament consists of 14 unguided rocket munitions, 4 laser guided AG missiles and 2 fire-and-forget AA munitions. The AG missiles are guided by an external camera that automatically follows its target which enables it extreme accuracy on both long range and short range combat.
