RAAF I-240
This thing took FOREVER to finish... and it was all because I forgot to set the wings to Symmetric instead of Semi-Symmetric. It can fly now, but it is very touchy, use trim a very small bit up so that the plane stays level, and be gentle with the controls. I was originally going to make the fuel tanks detachable, but they act as the only heavy object that keeps the plane stable in flight.
Anyways, onto the story and cool stuff.
Fictional Story
In 1945, the Russians needed a plane capable of high speeds at level flight, and a heavy enough armament so as to take down enemy bombers as well as regular forces. This plane was built as a twin seat, subsonic heavy fighter using engines from stolen Me 262s.
Production started in early 1946, but was quickly halted in 1947 when the Russians found a much better plane.
Capable of 600 mph at level flight, this thing is pretty fast. Though, very heavy too because I needed to make it able to actually fly.
Weapons:
- 2 37mm explosive autocannons
- 4 20mm basic autocannons
- 2 750 Ib bombs
- 2 7-rocket pods
Controls:
- AG1 = Drogue Chute
- Trim = Trim
I hope y'all enjoy!
Cool Pics
Random note, but I'm actually really proud of how the engines under the booms came out. I did that by accident, and as my paper showed, was not what I meant to do. But I REALLY liked it. Anyways, I dunno if anyone will read this part. Not purposeful either. Why are you still here? XD

Time for LE GRADE
Design: 8/10, plane has little detail, and that is complimented by the blocky wings. However your engines are nice and its an interesting arrangement
Performance: 9/10, its fun to fly and has some difficulty factor, in a good way!
Quality: 7/10, most of your parts are stock
Description: 10/10, amazing history and beautiful pics
Overall: 8/10, pretty nice man!
I discovered a flaw!!!
I don't know how to fix it, but sometimes the plane decides to kill itself and it stalls and rolls upside down, and then goes into a free fall. Even if you use the parachute to decelerate and then gain speed, the jets have a slow throttle response, and the pitch is slow, so the plane will crash no matter what at this points.
Sorry, Comrades XD
(The nerdy stuff is this:
I think the center of thrust and lift are still a tad messed up, so if you move the wrong way, the plane loses control and it stalls. Most likely a result of the high twin boom. Oh, well. At least it still flies and looks cool)
This is for KnightOfRen's challenge. This thing took a long time to get working XD. I know it's not the best, but I still hope you like it!
@KnightOfRen thanks!
Thanks! @Goorengan
Thanks! @ArkRoyalTheDDhunter
Thanks! @KnightOfRen
@tsampoy yeah, same here.
@LieutenantSOT No problem, I can see the thumbnail when I click on your posts, but it doesn't show up when you click the build
@tsampoy thank you so much! And yeah... oh, well. At least it still pops up before you click on the build
@LieutenantSOT Strange, I can't see it either
Nice!

Why aren't the images in the thumbnail working? Oh, well
