T-20 "Sparrow"

42.3k Supercraft888  7.6 years ago

Hello everyone, I'm Supercraft888, and I am back with a new WWII fighter/trainer. This plane was a blast to build and although it kinda controls sluggishly, I still like it. This is also for KDS's Simple Planes Map RP that I am in so join the GRA!!!

---Description---
The T-20 or "sparrow" as it was also commonly referred to, was a trainer/fighter aircraft developed early in WW2 by the British and Canada, although it only existed in blueprints, it was purposed to be cheap and to facilitate quick learning of other aircrafts such as the Supermarine Spitfire, or the Hawker Hurricane. It was equipped with quite a few weapons so in the case that there was the need to scramble as many pilots as possible, even recruits could participate in the battle with a plane they knew well. This was also proposed to supplement resistance pilots in France and Poland as it was easy to disassemble and put back together.

Eventually nearly a two century later. The GRA, and many other planatery militaries who could not afford more expensive trainers decided to finally put this design to light as there was an influx of new pilots waiting to join the airforces around the galaxy. Of course, the plane still does its job quite well even if it is obsolete.
