@KSPFSXandSP OK, since you're into physics, I'll elaborate. The bombs are scaled up (7 x 7 x 7) and have their massScale set to 0.025. The detachers have their detach force set to 15000. The high detach force combined with the low mass launches the bombs at a high velocity. You can play with the values to get bombs that travel in effectively a straight line (see my railgun post), or ones that act like a cannonball, traveling in a parabolic arc.

@TheOwlAce and if the one on the ground launched a bomb as well, it would be a bomb bombing a bomb while being bombed by the same bomb.
Just need one on the ground, then you would get a bomb bombing a bomb.
