In light (more like in dark) of recent events, allow me to elaborate. The P-400 is based off of the P-39 Aircobra fighter. The designation P-400 was given when the P-39 was exported to Britain in World War to as a lend-lease aircraft. A later variation of the P-39 Aircobra, is the P-63 Kingcobra, which you may know from the tragic event, which happened at the Wings Over Dallas Airshow, in which a Commemorative Air Force P-63F Kingcobra crashed into a Commemorative Air Force B-17G Flying Fortress under the name of Texas Raiders.
