A Pummeler Attack Mk 2 Aircraft in Hellenic Air Force colors. When the Republic of Hellas was formed, it found an ally with the Pilotmario Republic, as both were engaged in a war with the Olympians. However, the Pilotmairo military didn't have much spare aircraft to offer. It was decided to take some high-hour Pummeler Attack Mk 2 out of the boneyard, refurbish them, and donate them to the Hellenic Air Force. 600 Mk 2 aircraft and 125 Mk 4 aircraft were donated. The type was not particularly popular with Hellenic Air Force pilots, who referred to them as "Rattling Coffins" due to the type's obsolence, and were puzzled on how the PAF continue to use an airplane their grandfathers flew against. The Mk 4 aircraft remained in service due to the effectiveness of the Mk 8 cannon against armor and the fact these were newer aircraft. Most of the Mk 2 aircraft were either converted or partially converted to the Mk 4 standard, or phased out and cut for parts and scrap. This is an example of a partial Mk 4 conversion, receiving a wider propeller blade, structural improvements, and a new radio, but retaining the Mk 2's armament.
