Yeager
1915-1917AE
As the former PoF coalition countries rapidly militarized, so did Centria which put a lot of it's engineering and research towards new methods of waging war. The plane which was invented 4 decades ago hasn't been weaponized a lot and was only used as a reconnaissance platform but due to the ongoing threat of war, Centria decided that the air will be a new field to dominate. Stories of pilots exchanging fire through their pistols was not uncommon and soon the current general of the armed forces ordered a team of engineers to attach guns to existing planes and soon found that it was an effective way of downing enemy reconnaissance aircraft as evident in the tests they did (1914-1915). Now that the testing was done, a dedicated "fighter" aircraft with 2 machine guns began its development with requirements being cheap to mass produce while maintaining quality and must carry atleast 1 machine guns and have a max altitude of atleast 4000m. The development led to the creation of the Yeager biplane which had a good maneuverability and speed. After testing the prototypes(1917), the armed forces ordered 900 aircraft to form the first air division of the Centrian and Ricean Army.
