Northrop P-61 Blackwidow
This is definitely my best and favorite build yet, please take the time to give it a look!
CONTROLS (PLEASE READ)
-Normal flight controls
-turret is camera controlled from two different views(when switching to rear gunner, please wait 1-2 seconds for the turret to rotate to the rear position)
• NOTE- the camera controlled turret isnt the best, lmao
-VTOL: Flaps
-no trim(oops?)
•HOW TO ACTIVATE MAIN GUNS?? (HERES HOW):
Inside the cockpit view, look to your lower right. There is a control panel. Use the arm switches, or master arm.
main guns will freeze above a certain altitude(not actually), activate gun heating to make them work again(found next to the arming switches)
blueprints and (some) reference images used:
Extra notes
-this plane does suffer from auto roll, i was unfortunately not able to find the problem
-airbrakes dont work(just for show)
-roll is controlled only by the small ailerons on the tips of the wings, not by the spoilers
-Engine “master warn” lights seen in cockpit mean nothing; remove them if they are annoying
(They will always be blinking)
-the landing gear is a bit soft(take note of this)

How the turret work
lol @KipSqueaks
@Chancey21 its not black its just really a really dark shade of white :troll:
For the last time the P-61 is navy not black
This build is great otherwise though
It’s a bad time I start making liveries off of this plane (that’s something that I’m actually good at)
@Madmaximus Stock propellers do not have counter-torque
I think the reason you’re playing auto rolls it’s because both propellers are spinning the same direction make the propeller spinning opposite directions to cope with this problem
@Oxen Drawingdatabase.com is a great website, but at least for mobile you will have to screenshot the images as it would save as a Gif if you save it from there
Okay, I’ve been looking for a website or something for them, because I haven’t found any that have had good quality. @KipSqueaks
@Oxen what do you mean? If you mean the source i just go to google and search “(plane) Blueprints” and find a good quality one
Hey, what did you use to get the blueprints?
one thing to mention is you might cut the horsepower in half
hey man good job!
Nice.
