Westborne XF-W-56 grizzly
my new phone sucks (10fps with this thing)
history
In the early 1960s the US government was searching for Close Air Support (CAS) aircraft to help troops on the ground, and the newly formed westborne company created a very large and powerful CAS aircraft with a healthy bomb load and powerful cannon in the nose. Capable of over 350mph at around 2k ft, its a fast aircraft for the size and is the pride of the Westborne company. The US Airforce however did not see the value in this aircraft, with its weak suspension and fuselage, thats able to be taken down with only a few flak rounds. The company didn't get the contract, and with the failure of the XF-W-56, the Westborne company was dissolved. Only 10 prototypes were created, 6 were lost in accidents, and 1 was used to test the fuselage, the remaining were either scraped or sitting is a junkyard.

BUILDERS NOTE: this was the result of a radial engine i decided to makethat you can check out here , and is on this aircraft, and its worked great! I love how the whole thing came out and absolutely love the look of it. The only complaint is that my new phone is more of a potato than my 4 year old phone, smh, but its fine. Enjoy!
