Intercontinental ballistic missile v5
Two stage fully automatic ballistic missile carrying two modified 50-bombs.
Throttle controls the duration of the first stage burn. The relationship between burn time and distance traveled is not a linear one.
VTOL is the set elevation angle. Middle = 45 degrees.
Roll rotates the entire launchpad and thereby changes the heading of the missile.
To fire the missile, use activation group 1.
Once the lower stage separates, the missile is purely ballistic and in its terminal phase it will reach very high speeds. At those speeds the 50 bombs will not go off upon impact with terrain so the missile uses barometric (altitude) fuse.
To adjust the fuse use Trim.
Lowest trim settings sets off the two bombs at around 1000m above sea level. Once the altitude is reached the two bombs are slammed into each other with catastrophic consequences. The missile is capable of taking out everting on an island.
There is a detachable camera that you can detach with action group 2. Detach it at the safe distance in order to see the explosion.
To take out entire Krakabloa island from the Wright airport:
Throttle to 73%
Roll to heading 12 degrees
Trim to highest setting
VTOL to the middle.
(Takes out the two bridges, the convoy and all the planes in the vicinity)
To take out ice base from Wright airport:
Throttle to 90%
Roll to heading 359
Trim to highest setting
VTOL slightly above the middle.
