Electrode Corps MBT-1A Scmitar
The MBT-1A was procured from other designs of other nations. It is a mobile MBT capable of defeating many different enemies due to it's powerful 120mm HVRFAT (High Velocity Rapid Fire Anti-Tank) cannon. The fast reload of the tank enables it to focus on more targets easily, compensating for it's low explosive power. However, its shells are fully capable of shrapnelling and cause major damage to modules, leaving the enemy tank left for dead. It's other choice, the 152mm 4B (Big Bulky Bunker Buster) Howitzer is the alternative to the HVRFAT cannon. It is sluggish and carries shells with gargantuan amounts of explosive mass.
As for mobility, this is quite agile for an MBT. With a 1 500hp Diesel Turbine Engine, the engine could pull the 54t tank along with 31hp/tonne. As a result, it can reach speeds of 48/49mph (80/81kph) when governed. However, when the speed limiter is removed, it could reach speeds of 72mph (120kph). This is inefficient however, as the terrain isn't always good, so it is governed. It does have 62°s on track traverse and 60°s on its turret traverse.
Armourwise, it is poor against KE rounds. The tank is specifically designed to counter HEAT rounds, therefore it's lightweight composite armour. To top that off, it also features ERA and Spaced Armour to protect its important modules, particularly the tracks and the ammunition. The tank can fit 4 or 3 crewmen, depending on the presence of the autoloader.
Controls:
AGI +VTOL + Yaw for hull traverse and mobility
AGII + Roll + Trim for gun traverse
