Blurry Eyes
Well, it happened again. The part count got too high, slow loading, game crashing, nerves fraying, and ultimately a plane with a bit less detail than I wished. (Actually, the part count seems suspiciously high, in case anyone knows what to do about that...)
Anyway, this plane is called Blurry Eyes. Anyone who can tell me the TWO reasons it's named that will earn an upvote and yet more of my respect and admiration hehe. I'm guessing it will be quite obvious to many of you but who knows.
Credit to @Cedy117 for that sweet radial engine!
Nothing much else to say about this.... Flight controls are standard. No AG controls. It takes a good bit of trim to keep her level, but that's about it. It's pretty easy to fly. I hope you guys like it!! :)

Sounds awesome! @Thehiguy
Thank you and also I found this plane in a book called “ AIRCRAFT a definite visual history” by SMITHSONIAN you must check it out if you haven’t already.
Wow that is such an awesome plane! Thank you for the suggestion I will definitely try my hand at it!! :) @Thehiguy
@Hyattorama I have a suggestion, build a Boeing p-26 peashooter, it’s just about exactly your style and you should be able to do a great job at it!
Thank you! :) @CrazyCatZe
So cool
If you’re talking about this particular plane, though, it’s not a ‘runaway mirroring’ problem, it’s just that this plane has lots and lots of parts haha. I checked it many times. Thanks for the advice though! :) @Thehiguy
Ohhh yeah. I’ve definitely experienced that problem before! Haha. So nowadays, once I have the basic parts of the plane roughed out, I stop using the mirror plane function and just mirror individual parts. @Thehiguy
It might be Very thin fuselages and mirroring I made a B 25 ones and all of the sudden the part count went up to 600 it turned out I mirrored a tiny fuselage about 5 times
Thank you! :) @DiveDin
Blériot XI as first built awesome job
Looks good man! If you’re looking for feedback: one big thing is that take off is difficult. I would suggest adding flaps, and also moving the main landing gear forward, toward the CoM. Those two things will make it easier to get off the ground. You’ll have to change the landing gear so that it folds toward the tail rather than toward the nose (nice custom landing gear btw!). And finally, you might want to add a pitch trim function. Other than that, it looks cool and flies great! Also, for next time, you might want to tag me/whoever else in the comments section of your post, that’ll make it easier for me to get to it and I think the mods like it better that way... nice plane man, good work! @KerlonceauxIndustries
Yeah it’s the XI. Although I took different bits from different variants of the XI, and also some bits I fudged/made up. Which is why it’s not really a replica, even though I make it clear (through the name or otherwise) that it is practically a rough replica. Actually, that’s what I do with pretty much all my builds haha. I hope one day I will be skilled/creative enough to design my own plane from scratch hahaha. @KerlonceauxIndustries
Okay, sweet thank you! That is very helpful. Oh and by the way, I really really love the cockpits you’ve made. That was one of the main reasons I got really into building planes in SP to begin with. It helped me transition from just casually building rudimentary builds to building more serious and intricate builds (especially cockpits, which I feel is an essential part of a great plane). So thank you very much for that! @Sarpanitu
YES, A BLERIOT
Haha yeah. I guess it wasn’t quite as obvious as I thought haha. @JelloAircraftCorporation
Np @Hyattorama
Ohhhhh... I didn't get the pun until you mentioned it! @Hyattorama
Sure! But you shouldn’t consider it a favor; I meant to do so after you showed me your sweet Bush plane but I forgot hahah sorry. @XjayIndustrys
I finally got me some famous sweet beans! Thank you :) @RailfanEthan
Exactly! You are the first to guess that part! The other part is that it’s based on a Blériot aircraft, which sounds like blurry eyes sorta. Good job! @JelloAircraftCorporation
Ok so you’re saying the part count looks accurate? It doesn’t look like any parts have been doubled in mirroring? Thank you btw :) @AdlerSteiner
Horrendous engine vibration gave the pilot blurry eyes?? Nice work!
nice work tho! really like the details
well...it's not really that high...400 parts is like a warning unless the plane is big, 800 is like BOI OH BOI YOU DO NOT LISTEN unless it's a small plane
