An endeavour made by the Valansanoid Experimental Vehicles Division, the Glophus XXI was turned over to the Valansanoid Military, Ballistics, & Weaponization Unit after the Experimental Vehicles Division lost a bit of the financial committee’s confidence. The Weaponization Unit quickly turned it into a vehicle that was compact along the roll axis (and thus highly maneuverable due to the resultingly low moment of inertia along the pitch rotation plane. Yes, you can dodge missiles with it! All without countermeasures!) It is practically impossible to see from the ground, making it a very dangerous vehicle against aerial targets, mostly because the AA tanks on the ground that were supposed to help the enemy can’t because they think the overcast sky is clear until their allies start falling on them.

The main thing about this iteration of the Glophus series is that it is lightweight and capable of surviving 400 mph (instead of fragmenting at 200 mph) with a bit of wiggle room (unfortunately, that’s literal,) while still having the ability to glide a far distance should the engines fail. Because of this, it is able to perform sustained flight at highly variable speeds, from 10% throttle (slow cruise speed) to 100% throttle (catching the bus while it’s driving on the highway and breaking the speed limit.)
