The Blauhai Class is a group eight Frigates built for the Royal Equestrian Navy, and currently operated by the Royal Sovereign Navy.

Development

Both the Admiralities of the Equestrian Navy and Equestrian Coast Guard desired to obtain new class of warships to replace the old ones. So the Admirals of both branches request permission to the Monarch and the Prime Minister to give them authorization for the new class of ships, and so they gain permission. In 2078, The Monarch and the Prime Minister gave them authorization for construction.

In 2080 however, the Coast Guard decided to remove their partnership from the Navy and create their own design, thus the Navy solely developed the desired Frigate.

In Great Country Modern Navy Doctrine, Frigates are the 4th smallest active ship in the Navy and the biggest in the Coast Guard. They were the class that divides the Coastal Duties and the Ocean Duties thus making them able to operate on both conditions. Frigates carry the most available weaponry for Coastal Duties but were smaller than those present in Destroyers. Frigates were mostly the main "Killer vessels" for the Coast Guards and thus it's a standard for them to have a helipad. In some cases in the Navy, Frigates incorporated A conplete set of Hangar and a Helipad.

Features

-Some aspects of the ships were comparable to JMSDF's Kongo.
-These ships were armed with both Hanabi AAM and AAM SR all located in the VSL launchers, also they are all MK1s.
-For Anti-Ship missiles, they still use the Reichsrakete Mk1 just like the previous classes.
- The ships were armed with two Eagle CIWS (fore and aft) and two K-75 Machine Guns (portside and starboard side).
-The ships have a top speed of 31 knots.
