A hard modification of the standard 'Tantalus' platform, the 'Prism' is a recon and intelligence gathering craft that relies on blistering speed to a higher degree than its fighter brother, and on the same magnetic defense mechanism pioneered through that same progenitor.

The jet black coating was used to absorb and refract radio waves adding an early stealth component to this craft. At the time and for a while this was the fastest craft employed by the Arcanix in totality.
