Cougar MRAP
The Wandering Earth2 (film title) coating:
"Cougar" series anti-mine ambush protection vehicle
The company has long been engaged in the development and production of military mine protection and bulletproof products. In 2004, the first Cougar entered service in the U.S. military, and the Cougar and Buffalo MRRAP series had a 100% share of the same type of military vehicle market, which continued until November 2006. At that time, due to the huge demand of the U.S. military, more and larger defense contractors had to share the supply of MRaps: General Dynamics (GM), British Aerospace Systems (BAE), Turkey's Oshkosh and the United States' Navlstar International (Navlstar) have all joined in the production of MRAP, which has resulted in today's diverse and diverse family of MRAP vehicles.
The U.S. military divides MRaps into Type I, Type II and Type III vehicles based on the number of passengers and functions. Type I, also known as the "Mine Protection function model" (MRUV), is the smaller of the MRAP family, used in urban areas and other complex terrain conditions, as a fire team delivery vehicle, such as the 4×4 "Puma" is a typical type 1 vehicle. Type II, also known as "Explosive Ordnance Disposal Rapid Response Vehicle" (JERRV), is usually 6x6, or even 8x8 large models, such as 6×6 "puma" to complete personnel and equipment transportation, rescue and combat tasks. When infantry squads perform their duties as rapid reaction forces, they generally use Type II MRaps. The Type III is a dedicated combat vehicle against mines and IEDs, such as the Buffalo MRaps.
