skr-KV2
On the eve of World War II, the Northwest Soviet Army Command required the installation of 152mm howitzers for four experimental KV-1. The best designers of the KTZ Design Bureau were called together to complete the project. Two weeks later, a new test model was designed. At first, the designer decided to install 152mm's mod1909/ 1930 howitzer, which was eventually replaced by the more modern 152mm M = 10 Model 1938 / 1940 howitzer. The new and larger turrets, named MT-1, have also been designed to accommodate the heavy guns. With the official inclusion of the military and gave the name "KV-2", Soviet soldiers called it the "fearless warship" (KV s bolshoi bashnei). Carrying the 152mm howitzer, it has strong firepower, and its huge car body is called a "giant" by the German army.
