The J-16 is a fourth generation semi twin seater twin engine multi-purpose fighter developed by China's Shenyang Aircraft Company based on the J-11BS fighter jet. This work focuses on the ground mounted plan. Due to the J-16's 12 ton payload, it can carry an additional 20 122MM rockets and two SO-25 heavy rockets while carrying two YJ-91 anti-ship missiles. At the same time, the center axis mount carried four PL-15 medium range missiles, and the wingtip mount carried two PL-10 combat missiles.
