Hi Guys, Here comes an interesting challenge for you to try.
The challenge is that I have provided you with 2 modified Rolls-Royce/MAN Turbo RB.193 engines (Originally used in the VAK-191 German VTOL plane) and a GAU-8 cannon (Originally used in the famous A-10). I want you to build a plane around the provided parts to make a VTOL Ground attack plane. I tried my best to provide the parts with realistic weight and specifications to their real counterparts.
Rules:
- The plane must either be a successor or linked in the comments section. If I am not aware of it, your entry is not participating.
- You are NOT allowed to modify the engine performance or the cannon properties. There exceptions are:
-- The location of the engines
-- Adding or modifying Action Buttons
-- Removing the cannon's Collision detection
-- Changing the shape of the Gatling Gun's chain channel - the parts marked in orange below. However the drum and the cannon MUST be connected.
- Any modifications outside of these will get your design disqualfied
- You are allowed to move the engines and cannon accomodate the design you are planning to make.
- No additional engines can be added. Only VTOL RCN thrusters are allowed to accomodate for VTOL balance. Any additional engines will have your design disqualified.
- Points will be deducted for the use of the Gyro for balance.
- The plane must perform a VTOL takeoff and Landing on an empty loadout. It might be impossible to perform a VTOL take off on full load. Designs failing to perform this will be disqualified. Additional points will be planes that are able to handle smoothly in VTOL control.
- Extra points for Full designs (Wings, cockpit, gears, additional custom weapons etc...)
- XML Editting allowed
- Modding not allowed. Plane will be disqualified.
- Plane cannot exceed 1,500 parts. Any more parts will have points deducted.

- Use of Gyro
- More than 1,500 parts
DISQUALIFICATIONS:
- Modifying the Cannon and Engines outside of the exceptions
- Additional Engines

@IceCraftGaming Go ahead. There might be a possibility to build an empty space around the cannon to avoid crash detection. But I will change the rule for this. Thank you for bringing this up!
Would it be considered cheating if I disabled aircraft collisions on the cannon? Whenever I fire the cannon (despite everything in contact with it having disabled aircraft collisions) my craft explodes
